A calm tide-pool puzzle for iPhone. Draw one line, clean the pool, and watch Pebble swim.

The Tide Trail app icon: Pebble the otter waving from a tide poolDecember 2026 on iPhone

A solved level: every square of the tide pool is clear turquoise water, the Splash! ribbon shows above the board and Pebble pops out at the last shell.
  1. Draw one line through every square

Start on shell 1 and drag up, down, left or right. Pass the numbered shells in order and fill every square of the pool. The rule fits in one look; finding the route is the fun.

Changed your mind? Drag back along your line as far as you like. There's no penalty for a wrong move.

Level 1: a 3 by 3 tide pool with shells 1 to 4, a paw showing how to draw, and the hint 'Draw one line through every square'.
  2. The stream cleans the pool

Bottle caps, cans and scraps of net litter the sand. As your turquoise stream passes, each square turns to clear, sparkling water and the litter pops away in a bubble.

A half-drawn level: the squares the line has crossed are clear water, the rest are sand with bits of litter still on them.
  3. Pebble swims your route

Solve the pool and Pebble the otter dives in and swims your exact path, bouncing every shell, then leaps out with a splash as fish return to the clean water. Tap to hurry Pebble along.

Pebble the otter swimming along the finished line through a clean tide pool, trailing bubbles.
  4. Currents from level 21

Blue arrow squares are ocean currents: your line may only cross them the way the arrow points. Together with coral reef walls, they turn bigger pools into real brain teasers.

Level 21: a 6 by 6 tide pool with seven shells, pink reef walls and two blue current arrows, and the hint 'Follow the arrows: cross a current the way it flows'.

Calm, with a little challenge
